The FM Tramming Gauge helps you easily tram in your milling head for higher quality cuts and a better surface finish. With a sturdy ½” shank size the FM Tramming Gauge will fit ER20 collets and larger, meaning that this is perfect for most machines such as Tormach, Bridgeport, and Haas mills.

With large easy to read dial indicators it is easy to know how far from true your machine is, and makes it easy to get back to milling in no time. There are two mounting positions for the dial indicators that allow you to tram onto a 4, 5, 6 inch machine vice, or the bed of your machine.

Tramming should be a regular part of maintenance done on your mill especially as your machine ages and drifts over time. And with the FM Tramming Gauge its as easy as 1,2,3:

1. Pre-load the dial indicators by lowering the mill head so both gauges are pressed.
2. Make a small mark on the surface you are tramming, and zero out the dial indicators on the mark by turning the dial faces.
3. Check the dial indicators while positioned side to side and front to back in your machine. Adjusting your machines tilt until the dial indicators both read zero in all directions.
